Music

Scripture:  “Strike up a song to my God with tambourines, sing to the Lord with cymbals; improvise for God a new song, exalt and acclaim God’s name.”      Judith 16:1

Mission:  Cantors, Choir Members, Ensemble Singers, Hand-bell Ringers, and Instrumentalists strive to enhance Liturgical celebrations through a variety of sacred musical styles and genres. Music ministry serves the Liturgy by adding beauty and creativity. The music truly becomes the prayer of the community as musicians encourage congregational singing.

Vision:  All Music Ministers in the Choir and Ensemble meet weekly to prepare music which nurtures the faith of the community.

Rehearsals: Vocalists meet on Thursday Evenings:

Cantors from 5:45–6:30pm;

Choir/Ensemble from 6:30–8:00pm.

Instrumental practices are scheduled on Saturdays or the availability of the musicians.

Handbell Choir meets seasonally on Saturdays at 1:00pm.
