Lifelong Christian Formation Commission

Scripture:  “Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20

Mission:  To promote the educational/formational dimension of the parish’s mission by offering a variety of  spiritual experiences, faith building interactions, and ongoing learning about Christ’s life as our role model as the fully human One.

Vision:  Christian formation is a lifelong process aimed at personal conversion and growth in faith.

This Commission presently is being redeveloped to fit the ongoing and ever changing focus and vision of the parish in the ways of faith. This Commission is being re-formed according to the National Catholic Bishops’ Letter on Christian Formation. This Commission is presently made up of six people reassessing the ways in which the parish may organize resources, topics, Scripture study groups, retreats, speaker series and other various ways that the parish as a whole may deepen their experience of a Living Christ and a contemporary message of Good News. This Commission can always use more people who are interested in this type of focus and are of similar mind.
