Scouts

Scripture:  “I am among you as one who serves.”      Luke 22:27

Mission:  To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes, by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Vision:  To prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader, who are guided by the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

The Boy Scouts of America provides boys with programs and activities that allow them to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence and reinforce ethical standards. Scouting programs build boys mentally, physically, socially and spiritually. The skills they learn in Scouting help them overcome obstacles and challenges with courage and character throughout their lives.
